Wellington's multi-purpose stadium for major sporting events, including international Rugby tests, the annual Rugby Sevens tournament and international football and cricket matches. It is home to the Hurricanes Super Rugby team.
Seating capacity can reach 40,000 (with temporary seating)

How to get there
Walking
The stadium is a short 15-minute walk from Wellington's Central Business District. Join the 680-metre elevated walkway from the Wellington Railway Station that takes you directly to the stadium entrance.
Public Transport
All local bus and rail services terminate at Wellington Railway Station. From here it is a 10-minute walk via the elevated walkway to the Stadium entrance. On match days a special shuttle bus runs every 10 to 15-minutes from the city to the stadium.
Car
Vehicle access is off Waterloo Quay, however parking is limited so patrons are encouraged to make use of the public transport options available.

A limited number of paid carparks (below the main public walkway) are available to the public on event day. Event details will confirm individual event cost and carpark opening time.

General Information
Food and beverage outlets can be found all the way around the concourse. A Food Court area is available at Aisle 13 with seating. No eftpos is available on the Concourse outlets. Two Westpac ATM machines are located at Aisles 16 and 20 and two Eftpos desks are staffed for most events, located at Aisles 19 and 15.
You may bring small amounts of homemade food for personal consumption. The only beverage you can bring in with you is water in a sealed plastic bottle no bigger than one litre.
Disabled parking, access, seating and toilets are available. Special areas have been set aside in the Stadium bowl for wheelchairs and care-givers. Request details from the ticketing company when booking your ticket.
Wellington Regional Stadium is a Smoke Free Venue. Smoking is only permitted:
- On the plaza - area between the turnstiles and the main doors to the enclosed public gallery
- At the emergency exit spiral ramp at the northern end of the Stadium (between aisle 34 and 35)
