Host City Rugby World Cup 2011 – Wellington plays a major role in the RWC tournament hosting 6 pool matches at Wellington Regional Stadium. Two quarter finals games will be played at Wellington Regional Stadium on 8th & 9th October. Teams from South Africa, Wales, Fiji, Australia, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Tonga, France, Argentina and Scotland will be based in Wellington during pool matches in Sept-Oct and training at local rugby venues.
