Host City Rugby World Cup 2011 – Wellington plays a major role in the RWC tournament hosting 6 pool matches at Wellington Regional Stadium. Teams from South Africa, Wales, Fiji, Australia, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Tonga, France, Argentina and Scotland will be based in Wellington during pool matches in Sept-Oct and training at local rugby venues.
