North Harbour Stadium is a modern, multi-purpose stadium with a seating capacity of 30,000 for the RWC. Located in the centre of Albany on Auckland’s North Shore, 19 kms from downtown Auckland, it is the home of North Harbour Rugby.

How to get there

Public Transport
North Harbour Stadium is well served by the Northern motorway and Northern Busway. Buses will be free to all RWC 2011 matches at North Harbour Stadium for ticket holders (3 hrs before & after the game).

Bus:
Special event buses will be free for all ticket holders and provide the easiest way to get to the RWC matches at North Harbour Stadium. Free bus services will operate from Midtown / Downtown, North Shore via Takapuna, Henderson via Westgate, Orewa/ Silverdale and Manukau / Botany / Pakuranga.

Train:
Train services to Britomart, Manukau and Henderson will offer special bus service connections to North Harbour Stadium.

Taxis:
Pre and post event rank on Don McKinnon Drive between Appian Way and Munroe Ave,

By Car

Drivers are urged to use one of the four Park and Ride options that will be available at Smales Farm, Westgate Shopping Centre, Takapuna and the Bush Road industrial estate and hop on a free bus to the game. Restricted parking zone will be in place 3 hrs pre and 1.5 hrs post match.

General Information

North Harbour Stadium provides food and beverage services to all areas of the Concourse

Prohibited items include food, branded beverages, alcohol, glassware, glass bottles, canned drinks, fireworks/flares, laser lights, anything that can be used as a weapon, animals (except Guide Dogs), skateboards, bicycles & any item that can cause public nuisance or offence to any other user of the venue.

The stadium has a smoke free policy in all internal areas and seated areas of the Grandstand. Smoking areas are provided on the outside balconies behind the grandstand.

Disabled access is available via Gates A and H.
