Host City Rugby World Cup 2011 - Auckland plays a major role in the RWC tournament hosting 5 pool matches at Eden Park and 4 pool matches at North Harbour Stadium. The opening match is at Eden Park on 9th September. Two quarter finals games will be played at Eden Park on 8th & 9th October. Both semi-finals will be held in Auckland on 15th & 16th October as well as the RWC Final on 23 October.
