Being only four kms from the restaurants and cafes, you could dine out in a different place every night. Or, as each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, you could create your own favourites and dine on the deck enjoying a fine Otago wine as you watch the sun slip slowly behind the hills.
Barbecues and picnics are always a family favourite at the Lodge, along with outdoor chess, chequers and petanque.
At Longbourne Lodge we like to think globally and act locally, so each cottage is passive solar designed, and features double glazing and solar hot water. We offer rain collected filtered drinking water and the waste water is reticulated for the gardens.

A fantastic place to stay. A wonderful rural ambience. Great area for the kids to run around and play in. Excellent hosts...very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to next time.

Excellent one night stay - really well appointed cottage - as a caninephobe may not have booked had i been aware that it was so dog friendly - couldn't decide whether prints on inside of window over the bed were dog paws or child hands.

Great location, an over complicated tv system that your average user would struggle to get their head around how to get the tv to work. But nether the less a great place to stay if you want to be ten miutes out of town away from it all, .
