Visit for Rugby World Cup game
Hardly saw the inside of the hotel - from what I saw it looked a very nice place. Dunedin itself was well set up and a good experience for all visitors.

Lovely warm rooms with great beds. Food from restaurant lovely. Lovely position with views over the sea. The "special package" I booked turned out to have expired but they were happy to give me the "free" breakfasts and the complementary passes to Cadbury tour anyway which was good. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Only negative is the accounting side, tried to charge us for meals we never had and the room we had already paid for. Not a big one, turned out every place we stayed at (3 in total) while away tried to charge us for someone else's meals....something everyone should check in detail as we found out !! Maybe just a Sth Island thing ????
