Room was great! the only thing you should improve on and do is give free internet instead of charging an extra $5 for that. (as we also stayed in westport 1 night and had free internet at the westport spa motel) that was a great place to stay too ? so yes, i would stay again at the heritage highway motel if in hokitika again.

Manager gave us wrong key to wrong 2 bedroom apartment. Booked three rooms and all the coffee percolator lids damaged. Tv not properly tuned and the bedroom unit had no remote or dvd player. Noisy as close to rail and highway. Poor internet which had to be paid for.

Room was very clean. The shower was great and towels were arranged in a water lily pattern. We had a friendly welcome. Conveniently placed for town. One of the nicest places we have stayed in on our new zealand holiday.
